i am looking for a free music download .
but one that is safe to use with no virus etc.etc .
i use limewire before but i don't trust it to much .

You could use Spotify for free, but you now need an invite from someone with a Premium account. It also forces you to hear the occational advert, but it is very good.

Spotify is very good but if you can't find anyone to invite you it may also be worth looking at last.fm and we7.com. They both let you listen to music for free but in my opinion aren't as user friendly as Spotify.

i did google today and in a reviews .bearshare was a 5 start rated .
i did use it about 3 year ago it was ok then .
and i did use limewire but i am really scare about virus from it .
it not that i am crazy about music but i really like old rock and country .it gave me some to do to pass the time .
from my computer i use a 25 fts audio cable to my sony sterio that is also hook to my 42 inc tv . so i don't have to burn cd .

yes imesh look very good .but i did use limewire a lot in the 2007 years .lot of virus then .i don't know about now .
i did get about 18 songs today .and i connected my pc to my sony 500 watts .and also my tv is connected to my 500 watts .
what i am looking for is the oldie .country rock .and westhern.1960 around there .
.well am 66 so i like to go back in my time.lol
