Visual C++ windows vista home premium 64 bit

Hi all,

I have windows vista home premium 64 bit operating system on my desktop. I want to do VC++ programming for monte carlo simulations. So I think it would be best if I could use a 64 bit VC++ compiler if possible. It would be nice if I could get some suggestions as to where can I get a 64 bit VC++ or C++ compiler.

Hi,

I would recommend going for Visual Studio. There are some free Express editions, though they are slightly limited. Do you really need Visual C++? Do you really need to write in direct 64bit? If you are a uni student, google Microsoft DreamSpark.
