Solved Windows Sidebar Custom Gadget

Hi i have just created a new sidebar gadget and i am having problems when trying to install it. If i save it off as a .zip and then change extension to .gadget it looks okay but then when i click on it and click install it does nothing. But if i put the folder into

%USERPROFILE%\AppData\Local\Microsoft\Windows Sidebar\Gadgets

it will show in my gadgets and i can use it, any ideas why when i put it to a .gadget file it wont install?

Silly Me i have just fixed the problem. If anyone else has the problem make sure that your not putting the top level folder in the .gadget as it then cannot find the gadget.xml or any other files
