MSOffice 2003 problem

I recently installed MOffice 2003. Everything seemed to be okay. But when I clicked on help in The Word program, a message came up stating "Microsoft Word has stopped working". Here's the details I get:

So I did a repair thru the program, a re-install and finally an uninstall, then a fresh install. Now no matter which program I click on (word, excel, PP, etc), I get the same msg as above. I know BEX is a buffer over run exception but I do not know about the rest. My os system is Vista 64-bit. But since all programs worked initally (except when I clicked on help), I don't think the 64-bit sys is a problem. Can anyone help??

Hi,

Turn off DEP TEMPORERILY and see if word now works. If it does, turn DEP on again and (try word again?) disable DEP for Word (and other affected apps) ONLY.
