Windows Media Center does not open

Hi,

We have a Windows Vista Home Edition on a 32 bit system, with media center installed, however after a system crash caused by autodesk CAD, now media center wont open.

It does nothing. The computer does nothing when the icon is clicked, even when the ehome.exe is clicked from within the windows system files the program does nothing.

We'd like to know how to reset media center so that it will work again.

You can uninstall it, then re-install, if it still doesn't work, try doing a system restore to a day you know that Media Center worked. This won't affect your personal files like recorded TV etc., hope it works.
