Problem with Paperport 11.2

My OS is Vista 64 bit with Home Premium, SP1. I have been using Paperport 11.2 and it has been working with Vista 64 bit. I tried to run it today and it starts to load, before it can complete, it will totally shut down my computer. Other programs are loading okay.

Should I try to reinstall it or do a system restore. I am running Nod32 anti-virus and I do not believe I have a virus or trojan.

before you do a restore you can try to diagnose why its behaving this way. Can you go into event viewer (type event viewer in search) and go to the windows logs, application tab. look for errors (red "X" in left column) that relate to the paperport problem and let us know the event ID and source codes.

Thanks for the reply, I did get Paperport 11.2 to load. I loaded the disk to reinstall, but it gave me the option to repair, which I did. After this was completed, it is currently working okay. I hope this will continue.

might want to write down what you did to make it work and keep it handy, or do a backup<g>
