dvd playback choppy in media center

it actually switches between 2 scenes very quickly about twice a sec. the current scene and the previous scene. In media player it plays fine but my remote doesn't work with this app. so that wont work either since i payed so much $ for vista ultimate 64 bit so i could have a nice media machine. if i don't get this fixed I'm gonna have sell my computer to save up and buy a Mac. my friend has one and has 0 problems and I'm jealous. lol

Have you changed any settings in Media Centre? Try re-clocking your cpu back to stock speed.
