Probably not the best ones but the most popular benchmark applications are
PC Mark and 3DMark .
Frankly, I never try to benchmark my notebook. Can you believe this?

i want to test the whole system after the overclocking to see how it is.
i know 3dmark is one of the best for gaming benchmarks.
but i would like something for the whole system not just the gaming aspect.

ok..... here's a few more.
, benching is pretty irrelevant unless there's a general database for results.... numbers dont mean a thing if you have no comparisons.

another vote for sandra , and also Everest , you benchmark your cpu cache and ram for latency / read / write / copy etc letting you know exactly how well your current O/C is going , if you have to slacken off timings and speed up ram for example these tests will let you know if your going in the right direction or making things worse
a must if your into your overclocking
