Vista x64 endless restarting after installing updates

Hi,

I restarted my computer the other day, and it installed some updates, but wouldn't stop restarting. It will get to update 3 of 3, 0%, and then restart. None of the safe modes work, and system restore was turned off. Any ideas?

maybe you can try to hold the power button while the update is updating while shuttinig down so you can cancel the update.
