Intergrated Fingerprint reader

I have an intergrated fingerprint reader on my laptop running Vista Business, but I can't figure out how to set it up so that I can use it to make a password.
Keep in mind this is INTERGRATED, not USB.

Hope you're using not an HP? I just tried to use my intergrated Fingerprint reader by downloading the SoftPaq from HP and got locked out of my system. After the Softpaq installed, I registered my index and middle finger (per the instructions) and I restarted, not only could it not find my Fingerprint database..it would not let me login using my PW?!!! (Error msg: Unable to locate creditial manager). Oh btw, had to format HD and start over. (Could not even login using safe-mode).
Per the HP forum..it is nothing but a headache and all advise not to attempt using this as a login method for a couple of yearss until it is debugged.
I have a MS Keyboard w/ Fingerprint Security that worked much better but..of course there's no Vista Drivers for IT and can't use it either?

Yeah but I am using a Dell.

Hope you have better luck. I would suggest checking the Dell Forum about this prior
to installing.
