messenger video and sound problems

i am experiencing that everytime i go on video chats or mic's and i go onto the internet that it crashs my messenger and lags everything. recently i downloaded the new messenger and it doesnt help. to top it all off when i go onto video chats and it crashs it stops everything for 5 mins. that gets pretty annoying. please help!

Hi There,

Could be a conflict with other software still on the system. Try this:

Revo Uninstaller Freeware - Uninstall Software, Remove Programs, Solve uninstall problems

It's a great tool for finding conflicts.

Are there any error codes when it crashes? Are you using windows Live? Or you could just use Skype.
