I have 2 pc's in my home running Windos Vista Ultimate. Can one function as an extender to the other? I know I can add files by connecting to a network share, but I would like to take advantage of the Dual tuner card i have in one computer so the other computer can also tune channels. It is also less bandwidth than SMB.

Unfortunately not. VMC doesn't support tuners over the network. The only extender that works like that is the 360.
