You can stop it from d'l / installing automatically in "Control Panel", "Windows Update" and
changing it to let you decide whether to 'load updates or not.
It is entirely feasible that when you downloaded Office SP1 it was incomplete, and what you are being offered are in fact the missing sections. To avoid this, download and manually install the standalone version (see link). This is the way I installed both SP1 for Vista and Office2007. It should also be noted that there have been updates for Office that have been released since the issue of SP1. If you have not installed SP1 for Vista yet, I also enclose a link to that. I notice that you are running the 32-bit version of Vista. As a bonus, both the standalone versions of SP1 for Vista and Office 2007 will fit on a standard 700 MB CD.
