Hi folks:
I'm running Vista Home Premium 64 bit and one of the programs that refused to run was the LitSoft AcrossLite application that allowed me to print crossword puzzles so that I could work them in pencil (don't like to work crosswords on line).
I could not find another program for Vista that would run the .puz extension which allows the puzzles to be printed. So I googled my behind off and found this site.
TechBlog: Will your software work on Windows Vista? Probably . . .
I followed the directions and it worked like a charm.
This might work with other programs that are not (so-called) Vista compatible.
Enjoy!
