Ok, I know why I am having a problem, but I don't know how to prevent it. I have a dual boot system with Vista32 and Vista 64. Both OS are on seperate partitions. I run Outlook 2007 on both OS installs and I only use pop3 mail. I have both installs of Outlook pointed to the same .pst file on a completely seperate drive. Everything works fine except I am getting duplicate emails because one Outlook doesn't know that the email has already been downloaded.
So, I am sharing the pst file, and I'd also like to share whatever file it is that tells Outlook which emails were already downloaded. Does this make sense? I am confusing myself just typing it.
I though about having Outlook remove the files from the pop server once downloaded, but I need them to be there for remote purposes.
Any thoughts? Hopefully somebody can relate.
