I had a program running on my Vista Home premium laptop so I know it works, but then had to reformat my machine and have not been able to install it again. I keep getting an error message that the program wasn't installed properly and needs to be uninstalled and reinstalled. The program is not listed in the programs sections of the control panel for me to delete it, yet it appears in my listing of programs when I do an explore.
I am the only user of this computer so I assume I am the administrator.
What other choices do I have to remove it. None of the threads I read quite answer this problem.
The company tech support told me to type in "un" in the search box, but it just came up asking if I wanted to uninstall another program I recently installed. Also checked the restore section and I don't see it there to try to restore to an earlier time. I really have tried to do this myself first!!!
Any help would sure be appreciated.
