Vista media center -- Hauppage tuner hvf-950

Hi

Im having some trouble getting my hauppauge hvf-950 tv tuner to work on vista. I only have 1 gig of memory. When i install the latest drivers , and mce encoder , and setup mce -- I get a green screen with sound or a blue screen (without sound) that says loss of signal. I am only viewing an cable analog signal.

I have not installed the setup files for the tuner. as they disrupt playback of movieclip.mpg files filmed on my digital camera(dont undestand why this occurs????) - I did install them before and it still didnt work--but had to system restore to get the video to work again--- but the drivers and mce encoder are installed.

No problems with device noted in device manager
and worked great on xp pro 32bit
Any Ideas -- all updates from windows update are in

Thanks for all the Help , i will try the many responses and be sure to let u know which one fixed the problems.

2 weeks and no response is pretty absurd, but i believe if u did repond it most definitly would have been wrong and a huge waste of my time
