Vista Can't Connect To Internet!

Running Vista Home Premium 32-bit. Suddenly cannot connect to internet via wireless. Still able to connect via hard wire cat 5 connection. Have run virus scans, did DNS flush, deleted all temporary internet files, ran ccleaner--nothing seems to work! Why can I connect to the internet via hard wire but not wireless? I can connect to the wireless router, but it says "local connection only" on the taskbar network icon. Does anyone have any ideas? Thanks!

Try clicking View Status then Diagnose and it will reset the connection

    Weakest part of my computer is the graphics chipset. Only ever used a laptop. Also use USB Freeview TV Card Lenovo Docking Station External Speakers Other bits a pieces as needed
Open Device Manager, expand Network Adapters.
Right click on the wireless adapter and select Uninstall.
Once it completes, reboot.
Windows will rediscover the wireless device and reload the driver.

See if that fixes the problem.

Thank you for the suggestion. I have already tried that, but the problem persists. I do believe that it is a driver issue though, and am looking for an updated driver for that ethernet card.

What is the make and model number? I can help look for a driver.
