Is possible to get access to a router without join to the same network first and how?

No, you need to get on the network to access the router.

But not the windows network, just on the router.

HI Patonb,

that mean even i change my wireless Network Interface Card, TCP/IP configuration to a static ip address and the router ip address to the local area connection i can't join to the same network unless, i have a password to join the LAN netwrok first and then be able to access to the router right.

Hmm, i'm confussed.

When you join the lan you are usually on the network the lan is on, though you may not be on the windows network, which is different.

Hi Patonb,

I may not explain well what i mean, well here i go again, right i don't have a LAN network connected, however i know the IP Address of a router, so i added a LAN router IP Address and setup a static IP Address of my wireless network inteface card. However it doesn't seem to work after tried to access to a router IP Address.

Ah, yha okay..

Yha that won't work, you need to get on the router, either wired, or with the proper wireless password, as the router wont add the proper routing info to get tto you.

Is there any other way to get access to a router web page without join to the wireless LAN network first or by plugging the ethernet cable?

You have to get connection configurations from the router and it is best to allow the router to make those settings. If you want a static ipaddress you should do so from within the router rather than on your system. I hope that you are trying to hack or piggy back onto someone else's router.

Nah, without getting onto the network, there's no way, as the router and computer need to comunicate first.
