IS there 2 kinds of WINS, WINS server and WINS client? And where can i find WINS client software in my windows xp or vista?

Each time after clicking the User Account icon on windows xp to change a password is crashe with this erro message: Microsoft (R) HTML Application host has encountered a problem and needs to close.

Networking isn't a strong point of mine, but I'll do my best to help you. WINS is supported in XP/Vista, I don't think you need a client:
