I did some tidying on my computer, uninstalling a few programs, and updating old ones. Next time I turned on the computer, non of the programs found internet, except Windows Update. When I use diagnose and repair, windows doesnt't find anything wrong with my internet connection. I have tried turning the router on/off a few times, same thing with computer. Internet Explorer doesn't work, error reporting service doesn't work. But Windows Update manages to download and install updates...
My theory is that the uninstalling deleted some system files by mistake, but I am no expert...
I did the uninstalling using Windows uninstall function BTW.
