Hiiii, first time here. I'm warning you now, I'm very young so I'm not that associated with computer stuff all that much, even though I know more than my family.
I own a Dell Inspiron 1525, more than 3 years old and on its last leg. I was on it tonight when suddenly the internet stopped working. This sometimes happens and I go downstairs to reset the router. While every other laptop regained internet, my connect window said "Windows cannot find any networks". I assumed it was because my Wifi button was off and I switched it but it didn't make a difference. I switched it again and same problem. Its like the Wifi button doesn't matter anymore.
I restart my computer and suddenly my screen turns blue with white writing. In a complete panic, I shut off the computer and turned it back on and it restarted without any problems.
But still my internet will not pick up any wireless signals, no matter if I flick the Wifi switch on the side of my computer back and forth. Its really irritating and I have no idea what to do. If anybody can help me I'd be really really grateful. I hope I have provided enough information~
