Network and sharing center not working.

Hi i have read on here before about someone using vista and their network and sharing center broke.
Well mines doing to same thing i click it and it comes up as 'page failed'.
i have tryed to run the sfc /SCANNOW but a black box comes up and then as quickly goes away. I have had a look at the device manager and everything seems ok no little red crosses anywhere.
I dont know what to i want to change a setting on my connection but i cant see it.
I'm not very good at computers and would like a walk threw of how to fix it if indeed you can. I have to add i am able to get on to the net but am wanting to connect a games console to the net threw my comp and need to get to the network thingy to do so.Thanks

hi i have tried everything you have sugessted still it doesnt work i have even tryed doin the sfc in safe mode still nothing thanks for trying to help

Welcome, sorry none of the above worked.
Were all your scans clear?
Are all your drivers upto date?
What network connection do you use?
Who is your ISP & what router do you have for internet connection?

Sorry for all the questions, just trying to get a wider picture.
