I was currently using Cricket Broadband Modem to connect to the internet for several months and without any notice I began receiving the RAS 31 dial error.
I have done all of the following and I continue to receive the error:
1) I performed all Windows updates
2) Utilized the Configfree Network Utility pre-installed on laptop. (its supposed to automatically setup network connections.
3) Un/Reinstalled modems - (device working properly)
4) Manually reset TCP/IP
5) checked for services
6) removed Upper and Lowerfilters
7) removed all network connections and reinstalled
Aside from the Ras dial 31 error, it shows that network cable is disconnected. I have never used an ethernet cable to connect to the internet and it consistently tells me to check cables.
Can anyone help.
