i bought a linkysys e1000 router to work with my hp compaq presarioF700 with windows vista. i connected the router with the tech guy on the phone from linksys, it was all done correct..he tols me there have been many people with problems connecting to that router who have vista and i should download updated drivers. i went to hp's website and downloaed drivers, but i dont know where to go from there. i dont even know if im downloading the right drivers? any one else have this problem or know of any way to help?? im not that computer savy!

Well as long as the connection setting have been stored during set-up (Normally are) then you should be fine.
They were saved right? It's a tick box you select when setting up the wireless connection, remember these settings or something.

I still can not connect to the internet...i only can if i use the ethernet cable directly into the laptop. any other sugesstions?
