vista problems with internet connection and device manager

Hi
My laptop toshiba satellite worked fine connecting wirelessly to the internet until i changed internet suppliers.

It recognises the router but cannot connect to it i have tried resetting router etc etc.
When i try to go into the device manager it comes with a warning saying mmc cannot initialize snapon.


Other laptops can connect to the router.

Any help would be gratefull
