Everytime I open up IE, the window pops out saying Abort in LSP c:\src\googleclient\total_recall_r4_en\common\shared_memory_ptr.h;188 and IE won't load.

What's in your C:\src directory? it says googleclient, but you don't show any Google applications installed.

Press Windows Key + R, type in Explorer C:\src, click on OK. Then click on Start > All Programs > Accessories > Snipping Tool, click on the top-left corner of the Explorer window, hold the left button, and drag the cursor to the bottom-right corner oof the window. Release the button. Click on File > Save As, click on Desktop in the left-hand pane, and type Explorer_Window in the File Name box.
Click on OK and upload the Explorer_Window.jpg file with your reply - see Vista Forums - FAQ: Reading and Posting Messages). Wouldn't hurt to review the rest of the FAQ while you're waiting for a reply.

Click on Start > All Programs > Accessories >, right-click on Command Prompt and click on Run as Administrator. Type in:
regsvr32 vbscript.dll
and press <Enter>.
Then try running the Fix it tool again.
