Hey everyone,
I'm currently in a dorm and it has an ethernet setup like the one shown:

As you can see it has two ethernet plugs, a cable connection for TV, and a phone jack. Mine and my roommate's problem is that we want to connect three things at once (laptops x2 and a PlayStation 3). I did some research on Google and some sites said we need an 'ethernet splitter' and some said we need a 'network switch'. Could someone clear up this confusion for us?! (and post a link or two to a retailer where we could purchase this device?)
