Hi I have a Sony Vaio VGN-FW11E Laptop with an Intel WiFi Link 5100 AGN.
On the front is a switch to turn of the Wireless adaptor & a little green light that goes out when you switch it off.
Normally when I turn on the computer it comes on automatically but sometimes it does not & when I look at Device manager it is missing. The only way I can fix it is to turn the computer off & on again. Sometimes I have to do this several times before it will work.
It also goes off by itself if the computer is left on for any length of time without being used.
any ideas ?
