I've finally got around to setting up my home network. I have the HP Deskjet 5650 printer directly connected to my VAIO notebook which and the VAIO is also directly connected to the wireless router. I am running Vista Home Premium 64 bit on the the notebook. The printer works fine connected to this computer and in the past has worked fine when connected directly to the following two computers.
The other two computers on the network are running XP SP2.
When I try and add the network printer to either on the XP SP2 computers I get the message:
The server for the "HP Deskjet series (HPA)' printer does not have the correct printer driver installed. If you want to search for the proper driver click OK. Other , cancel and contact Administrator or manufacturer.
I have the original software that came with the 5650 but the correct driver cannot be found on the desk.
Does anyone know how I can get the two satellite computers to recognize the printer or where I can find the driver?
Thanks in advance!
