Vista blocking airport extreme?

G,day all, Begging for help with my wireless sytem. The wife is a die hard apple fan and so we got a apple airport extreme with her new laptop. Got the system set up and then spent 2 hours on line with the apples techs ( very helpful) who diagnoised the problem as vista blocking the Bonjour system. Next I spoke to Vista techs (rude)for 10 minutes who claimed it was not their issue. The end result is I have web access, an orange blinking light on the airport extreme, and a unprotected wireless network. help please.

right click task bar run task manager go to services tab. lok for bonjour. is it running? my pic has mine stopped because it is a resource HOG.

If it isnt running type services.msc in search go to bonjour and right click. Start it and make it automatic

That should do it. If not your firewall or ANTI VIRUS may be blocking it
