Hello--
I purchased an HP Pavilion Elite with the new Intel i7 processor. It is not recognizing an Epson Artisan 800 printer that is connected wirelessly to my network.
The wireless LAN connection shows as active on the printer itself. I loaded all the Vista 64-bit drivers and utilities for this printer to the CPU from the Epson website. And the printer is recognized as choice in print menus for documents, etc.
I get an error message from the Epson print manager, however, saying the printer is offline--even when it is turned on and regardless of whether I connect it via an ethernet cable to the CPU itself OR the wireless network router. (I have checked to make sure the ethernet cable is good--it is).
Any suggestions on how to deal with this? Much appreciated.
