When using Ethernet or Wi-Fi I have no problem, but when using an HSDPA USB modem to connect to the internet via mobile broadband (dial-up) I have the following problem:
Windows Update can "check for updates" and lists pending updates without a problem, but will not download anything (starts downloading but stops at 0% with error 80200011). Internet works fine otherwise (e.g. Internet Explorer, email etc).
I am using NIS and have tried disabling this but it does not help. When booting in Selective Starup (no startup items, Microsoft services only), I can connect to the internet (dial-up manually or automatically via IE default connection and get local and internet access status), however I cannot locate any web sites (e.g. Google), so suspect there may be some issue with DNS or some other configuration setting for this connection.
