How to make Link light on Comcast modem stop blinking using vista

When ever I am using the Internet the light labeled "LINK" always blinks the problem I have with his is that when I am using the internet this is how I am being judged to see that I am using the internet so i can't use it late like i want to. So i would like to no if i can stop it from blinking or like bypass the modem and only use my router thanks for any help.

You can't stop it from blinking, but you could make it blink all the time. Like if you always had a torrent downloading. Then know one could tell if you were using the internet because it would constantly blink.
