I had access to my base computer (Vista) from my laptop (Vista) although with a few hiccups, but after installing i-tunes on the base computer I am shut out of even the my picture, music, video folders on the base computer. It will not allow me in with the "owner" signed in even though both the owner and a second signon are listed as administrator. I simply can't get into that and several other similar folders. I discovered that I could get in if I went through the shared network tab on another computer that was was previously mapped, but not from the "my documents" on the main system. I have had many security issues with Vista, as I am running XP on three other systems and Mac OS on another laptop. It seems as though i-tunes has moved the actual picture and music files and the shortcuts and pointers are not working!
This is in a list of the security and access related issues I have had. Is there way to create a superuser who have override the general system security are do I just suffer??
Cheers,
Olga
