Hi everytime I turn XBOX on it finds it ok but always comes up as a public network.I have to manually go in and set it to Private before it will share with the PC.How can I set the XBOX (italways finds it as unspecified network) to be Private network automatically like my Internet access.Xbox it connected to PC with ethernet cable. Thanks Karl

you could buy a router, not an expensive one, but an ethernet switch which you can connect your xbox to it, since its always on and always connected, theres no need to fiddle with the connection settings.
