Hi all, The problem I am having is that my connection will suddenly disconnect and leave me with a blank screen, or say that it is restarting which it does. Does anyone have a solution to this. I found this on another site but have not tried it. I trust the advise I get here more than any other. Here is what I found: There seems to be a bug in IE 7 which causes your Internet connection to drop out every so often.
Technically what is going on is that IE 7 seems to be corrupting the DNS settings. You can still ping an IP's and Surf by IP IE7 just won't fully resolve DNS.
Fix:
Or one that seems to work for me is to open IE 7 then click on "Tools" and then "Internet Options". In the dialog box that opens click on the "Connections" tab at the top. Look toward the bottom of that box for "LAN Settings". Now check the box that say "Automatically Detect Settings". Click "OK" to close all boxes.
So if you have a answer to this please advise.
