Just moving in to this new place downtown. I have been given two options, either get a wireless network card so I can connect to my landlord's line OR apply for a new Telus internet connection/cable (connect to socket through wall). I have never been a fan of wireless connections, but I've done some research with few answers. So should I go for a wireless where I have to buy a new card or pay monthly for a new Telus internet line? It's for my desktop by the way.
I game a lot, multiplayer, and download stuff too.. torrents. Was thinking about wireless how it would drop sometimes. But it's not a big apartment and the main connection is only about a room away. It'd be good if I can get recommendations which to get, thanks!
