How do you set up an internet connection via wireless using Vista laptop to XP deskto

I have a Vista laptop that is wireless so no router needed or card and I want to connect it with a Windows XP desktop computer that has a Westell router. How do I do this? And please explain in very detailed steps I'm quite iliterate when it comes to internet connections

Hi Bianca, welcome to the forum

I take it that the router and computer are both up and running, (you can access the internet) and that you are just trying to access the internet with your lappy.

If this is the case you need only to right click on the network symbol in the task bar (notification area), choose the option to join a network, select your router from the list, enter your WPA key (this is the same as for your other computer)and press connect
