Solved Clearing Internet Search History

I am having difficulty clearing my Internet Search history. I'm using Vista Home Edition Premium 32bit and IE 7. The history does not clear when I follow the general procedures in the Internet Options, General and delete history tabs. Any suggestions? I contacted my ISP, but they referred me to this site.

Hi linders, welcome to the board.
Apologize if I misunderstood you. Can you just go in to history (the clock icon) and delete what ever you like to delete in there? Or run CCleaner with history checked. Hope this would help.

Thanks. Actually I went in and deleted all in the history and that seemed to work. I swear I did the same thing once before and the old history just reappeared. Maybe it worked this time.
