Network sharing between Vista and XP Pro

I have a home network with 2 desktops connected. 1 running XP Pro the other running Vista Ultimate.

I am trying to set up file and printer sharing, but the Vista machine can not see the XP one, or the network printer.

The printer is connected to the XP machine. The network groups are the same, but I can not see the pc or the printer.

Confused.com

Yep, I tried that one. Neither machine can see each other.

Both are connected to the router fine, and can access the internet. They just can't see each other.

Do you have the file and printer sharing in the firewalls enabled.

Yeah, its enabled in both firewalls.

I'm not running any other software firewalls at all, just the windows one.
