Hello all - I just purchased a Gigabyte GA-EP45-DS3R motherboard, which replaced my ASUS P5Q that died.
After I loaded all of the drivers (using Vista x64), the first thing I noticed was my LAN connection speed was signifcantly slower than on the ASUS. So I started poking around in the Realtek "advanced configuration" properties. I changed one item:
1) Flow control - from "enabled" to "disabled"
After making the change my speed jumped significantly. However, that brought me to the question of if I need to change any of the other settings? Are there settings to be made for ultimate LAN performance?
