NEtwork discovery
my selection on network discovery is custom i need it to say ON so it can find devices on the network.
I select on and apply but it goes back to custom any ideas
(it has sp3 too)
I hate to reload as there is a lot of work to do after its reloaded

  1. Don't post your email address on an online forum (unless you particularly like being spammed and phished to death).
  2. There is no SP2 for Vista, let alone SP3. If you are running XP, this really isn't the forum for you. If you are running Vista, you better check your Service Pack level.
  3. Screen shots would be wonderful as we cannot come over to your living room to check your machine....

thanks for the heads up on the email ,I was hoping for help quicker than usual ,i was wrong talking about 2 op systems my vista is sp1,found my problem though i had a few service turned off in the service section under myconfig.
Everything is ok now ,the network sharing found my dvd recorder
