Hello
This is my first post here
I've got an Epson Stylus 810 printer on my LAN. It's wired to a Windows XP SP3 computer and shared on the network.
I can use this network printer from a laptop running Vista x86.
I'd like to do the same thing from a computer running Vista x64... but it's not fair until now
The wizard sees the network printer but asks for a specified driver... that I can't find.
Epson doesn't have a "dedicated" Vista x64 driver on its website.
I've tried to wire (USB) the printer to the Vista x64 computer for test purpose... and Vista x64 automatically found a good driver and the printer locally worked !...
I've checked, it was using the following driver : C:\Windows\System32\Drivers\usbprint.sys
How can Vista x64 find a driver in the wired scenario and not in the LAN scenario ?
Thx.
