IE 64 Works, 32 doesn't

Running Vista Ultimate x64 with a wired internet connection. Have had no issues for a year, now I can only access the Internet with IE 7 x64 and none of my other programs, such as IE 32, Google Talk, Live Messenger, Virus Software, FileZilla, etc. I recently installed SP 1 and a game, but everything worked fine for a few days afterwords. I can't pin point this problem to anything I changed with the system. Thanks.

Are you receiving any error messages when trying to use 32bit apps that access the net? Have you rebooted? Have you checked WU to see if any updates were installed during that same time period when this began? You could try http://www.vistax64.com/tutorials/66978-system-files-sfc-command.html?ltr=S to see if some system files are corrupted, or else http://www.vistax64.com/tutorials/76905-system-restore-how.html to see if you can get them working.
