Okay I have a question, I reluctantly upgraded my Nvidia Silent Cell 9500GT (only reluctant because it is silent), to a GeForce 760 TI, not the fastest on the block, but I am not into high end gaming. The only game I have on my PC is Warcraft 3 The Frozen Throne NOT WoW.
My question is two fold, one the last few Experience updates, will simply not work, I contacted Nvidia Tech Support, they had me uninstall everything to do with the GPU and reinstall it. No go. It was then suggested I do an OS reinstall, naturally there were no guarantees that would work.
So I did a dual boot, my main OS is Vista, I also have Win7 Ultimate, which I installed, did the GPU Updates same error (it just wouldn't work).
Re contacted Nvidia, they said to RMA it, it was faulty. (I have yet to take it out of my case).
Now the second part of my question is, does the GeForce Experience make any impact on the "gaming experience"?
As I said I only play Warcraft 3 The Frozen Throne and I haven't noticed any change.
Here in lays my dilemma, there is another PC in the house, but the case is to small to take my GPU, I have a work around for the "Experience", I install the latest drivers and have a stand alone version of the GEForce Experience V1.7 which works!
Do I take the card out and RMA it or keep the card?
