bod with nvidia driver error message

Hi Everyone. I am new to this forum and am in desperate need of help. I have a dell xps 630i. I am having problems with getting the bod with windows directing me that the nvidia drivers sat drivers need to be updated. I have done that multiple times and still get the blue screen. I can use safe mode. Any advise would be so appreciated.

What driver aree you upgrading to? Oh and welcome to our forum..

I would NOT use the ms update one, and I would first start with a version off the dell site.

Eek uit just got harder, you are running a 650i which is a nvidia chipset, so it probably isn't your video card

Have you tried updating the nforce drivers for the motherboard?

Please let me know the exact video card present in the computer. To check please follow the steps:

1. Press “Windows + R” to launch the run window.
2. In run dialog box type in “devmgmt.msc”. Device manager window would open.
3. Under display adapter what does it have?

Go to safe mode with networking and then uninstall the video drivers from device manager. Please follow the steps to uninstall the drivers:

1. Click Start.
2. Right click Computer.
3. Click Manage.
4. On the left side click Device Manager.
5. Click on (+) Display Adapter.
6. Right click the device and uninstall it.
7. Ensure that the delete the driver software for this device is checked.

Reinstall the drivers from the vendor website; refer the link mentioned below: Drivers - Download NVIDIA Drivers

Please post the results.

^The problem is It is possibly NOT his video card, as the system has the 650i chipset, which is NVidia too.
