Hello, I have a huge problem with my graphics card or maybe the driver. I cannot go onto normal mode because I will always get BSOD which is this type: attempt to reset the display driver and recover from timeout. It happened yesterday when I started up Team Fortress 2. It was the first time I had it then but now I get it really often. However, when I left the computer for a day and returned back onto it this morning it was working fine for several hours. But after the several hours, I had the BSOD again, which I am certain will carry on happening now.
On safe mode I have these weird dotted columns on my screen on the background.
(I cropped the image because I don't want you seeing my shortcuts, but you get the idea)
Most of the interface is in really bad quality/bad shape like it's graphics card that is messed up. (I have like random blue squares on a black screen at the start of bootup)
I was wondering if I could fix this without getting a new graphics card?
Also, is it time for me to get a new computer? (I had this one for 5 years)
Computer Specs
Operating System: Windows Vista™ Home Premium (6.0, Build 6002) SP2

Sorry if it is wrong. Hard to find computer specs on safe mode.
