ok so i got a new graphics card, keyboard, and mouse for my computer.
i installed the keyboard first, then the 5700 series card. it took me about 6 hours to get the card actually running right. I tested League of Legends AND Hero's of Newerth with shadows on and high graphics settings. when i finally got it all fine tuned it looked great. everything was smooth. all 10 champions could be in the screen using colorful spells and the game would run smoothly. i Installed the mouse and everything was still working perfectly.
It was one of thous epic feelings to see it all work so well (this being the first time i can actually play with max settings AND shadows with NO PROBLEMS)
half way through the next day the graphics started to get really choppy. im not sure what happened they just are getting choppier and choppier the more i play. i have had to turn the graphics down during games to compensate for this while i try and test other possible ways of fixing this.
MY DIAGNOSIS
- i have a 300 watt power supply and my mother board takes up 90. the graphics card takes up 100
well thats 190 already the keyboard and mouse both are USB and have LED's and other functions that make me think they both take together maybe 40-50 watt's.
im sitting around 250 watts and thouse are the only things i can think of that take power. I know the shuttering of graphics in-game is from something but i cant figure it out. any help would be appreciated, i want to go to bestbuy and talk to them about power supplies but i wanna see if anyone else thinks its the problem or if i can solve it some other way.
