A while ago I purchased a graphics card so I could connect my PC to my TV. I figured it was the next step since the model numbers are consecutive(6150,6200)but this card is also overclocked. Works OK but it crashes my display(the notorious NVLDDMKM driver). I have tried just about every driver I could find but it keeps happening. Is it because of the overclock? Can I fix it to not be overclocked? Your thoughts??
You should see if your card is possibly overheating. Download EVGA's precision or MSI's afterburner utility and see what the temperature of your card is.
I once had a BFG 8400 GT (they discontinued their graphics line of products and only sell power supplies now) and the fan made a grinding noise because one of the fan's mounting support on the card broke (plastic) and it was grinding against the card and made it overheat due to no airflow.
